StomperNet’s The Net Effect is a monthly journal full of tips and techniques for growing your online business. StomperNetDVD.com was elected to receive a Press Copy (review version) of the first issue.
Each issue of The Net Effect will contain 45 – 50 full-color pages. It feels great in your hand, and the pages aren’t very reflective, so the journal is really easy to read in direct sunlight and indirect light circumstances. Unlike most journals and magazines, StomperNet The Net Effect will only have around 4 carefully picked sponsors, with full-page ads (in this issue). I like this idea, because it has so less ads and more cool content that we can use!
Also very important is the fact that at the end of each issue, you will find an Action Plan, so you can directly apply what you’ve just read.
Now on to the content itself…
Along with articles from Brad Fallon and Andy Jenkins, almost all StomperNet faculty members (teachers) publish articles explaining what works and what doesn’t. The articles are well written, and not boring. Although the graphics are not really ugly, I think they can improve this. The graphics in this issue are very functional, rather than eye-pleasing. The Net Effect has screenshots as examples, and text boxes with bullet-point style summaries, which is really great!
I’ll give you quick view of what they write about. The content is divided into 5 categories: Research, Traffic & Marketing, Customer Relationship Marketing, Technology and Business, and Featured Articles. The current issue of The Net Effect features articles such as:
- The “Keyword Heist” Technique: How to Finally Crack Open the Vault of Profitable Keywords (the ones your competitors don’t know about)
- 26 Things to Test: How Well Do You Know Your Customers, Competition and the Market
- Twittering Your Way To Free Traffic: The 140 Character Click Magnet
- Email Blastoff!: Design Your Email to Make Your Customers “Open”, “Click” and “Buy”
- How to Interview an Outsourced SEO
As you can see, really usable content!
The Net Effect Review Conclusion:
This is the best journal I’ve ever read on growing your online business! I used to love Business 2.0 (before it was cancelled), but StomperNet exceeded my expectations with The Net Effect. Anyone who is serious about growing their online business MUST HAVE The Net Effect… period!
